"New Release: My Mom Is Here’s Extended Single"

My Mom Is Here, the New York-based pop-rock band, has just released the extended version of their latest single, “The Lucky Dudes.” This fresh seven-minute take on their original love song showcases the full breadth of the band’s dynamic sound and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Written by vocalist Samantha Seiff, “The Lucky Dudes” narrates the experience of young love and the courage to trust one’s feelings despite external hesitation. The song draws inspiration from Seiff’s relationship with bandmate Nick Sare, highlighting the beautiful intermingling of love and creativity within their music. Seiff describes it as a celebration of believing in the serendipity of finding your soulmate at an early age.

This extended version of “The Lucky Dudes” was recorded at the esteemed Power Station at BerkleeNYC and marks the second release in a three-song series produced by Terence “T” Odonkor. Leveraging Odonkor’s extensive Broadway orchestration experience, the band amplified the track’s arrangements, incorporating horns, strings, and rich background vocals. The collaboration with accomplished session musicians adds depth to the already vibrant sound.

“My Mom Is Here” emerged from a quirky origin, where Seiff and Sare first bonded over music in a jazz a cappella group at Columbia University. Their early shows were characterized by high energy and humor, evident even in their choice of band name. The duo has since expanded into a full band, gaining recognition for their engaging performances and sharp musicianship.

With the release of their debut EP, “Baby Steps,” in 2025, the band has continued to grow, culminating in their nationwide tour. The newly released extended version not only serves as a testament to their musical evolution but also re-establishes the core chemistry that has characterized their sound.

Fans should stay tuned, as the series doesn’t end here. Following the extended version of “The Lucky Dudes,” the final installment will be a reimagined cover of Steve Winwood’s “Can’t Find My Way Home,” scheduled for release in June.

If you’re looking for music that captures the essence of love with a pop-rock twist, don’t miss listening to “The Lucky Dudes (Extended Version)” across streaming platforms. This latest offering from My Mom Is Here promises to deliver a fresh yet nostalgically rich listening experience, resonating with anyone who believes in the magic of love.
